I am available to speak to schools about my career as an author/illustrator. I show an engaging, informative slide show of work from my eleven published books, as well as work currently in progress.

For a measly $800/day, I will speak to up to four groups per day, depending upon the enrollment size of the school. I will also show original illustrations from my books, and talk at length about my writing and illustration processes.

Along with Robin Pulver, I was chosen to present a program entitled “PUNCTUATION, PARTS OF SPEECH, SILENT LETTERS: WHAT A COLORFUL CAST OF CHARACTERS!” at the 2008 International Reading Association convention in Atlanta, Georgia.
